As of July 1, 2013, the legislative freezes requiring exemption requests approved by OFM expired. Exemption requests for the following items are no longer required:
  
            - Out of state travel/training
            - Equipment (including printing/copying equipment)
            - Personal Service Contracts
            - Use of Private (non-state) facilities for meetings

Follow university policies regarding appointments, reclassifications and salary requests. For detailed guidance, please contact Human Resource Services.

1. Salary Increases
Although the freeze has ended, all salary increases for faculty and administrative employees must be submitted through OPDRS for approval.

2. Recognition Awards
Effective May 2, 2012, recognition awards in the form of cash or cash equivalents such as gift certificates or gift cards are permitted if paid from donated funds.

3. Permanent Hires

Permanent hires for faculty and administrative professional personnel, including appointment and position changes from temporary to permanent, must be submitted through OPDRS for approval.
